How Many Calories Are There in a Kulcha & Does It Have Any Health Benefits?
Kulcha is a spongy Indian flatbreads served with curries. Kulcha is prepared from Maida or white refined flour. Kulcha is leavened with baking powder & whole milk yoghurt. A filling of mashed potatoes or Paneer or Peas is used while preparing Kulcha along with other spices that are mixed with the dough. The cooking method of Kulcha is similar to that of Naan. Kulcha is a variant of Naan which includes the fillings of Paneer, Potatoes, Vegetables, Onions and other vegetables. The process of preparing a Kulcha involves mixing of mashed potatoes and peas with the dough. A medium sized ball is made after rising and Kulcha is rolled out.
