Falooda is a popular flavored milk dessert drink or Indian milk shake which is made from ice cream doused in rose syrup, milk, vermicelli, basil seeds (sabja seeds) and nuts. It is a sweet milk with creamy texture. Falooda simply requires four ingredients such as rose syrup, falooda sev or vermicelli, soaked sabja seeds and milk. You can also add strawberry flavored jelly, dry fruits or vanilla ice cream. Falooda is not only delicious but it also produces cooling effect in the body. Kulfi falooda, Kesar Pista falooda and Mango faloods are some of the popular variations of Falooda. The recipe of falooda can be veganized by using almond milk and a vegan ice cream. Starch vermiceli can be substituted with whole wheat vermicelli.

It has high fibre content which keeps your stomach satisfied for longer and prevents unwanted food cravings.
