Fitness Story: Even Thalassemia & PCOD Could Not Stop Her From Achieving Her Dream Physique

Name: Kanzah Syed
Age: 26
Height: 149cm
Weight: 60kg
Residence: Mumbai
Fitness Achievement: Did two fitness transformations during my own journey, currently running online training programs across Social Media platforms.

What made you take up fitness seriously?
I had tried every possible thing to lose weight and have terribly failed at every attempt but 10 yrs back when I was Constipated (as a result of which suffered from piles later), was on the verge of becoming a Thyroid patient, found out that I was also a thalassemic minor patient with hemoglobin as low as 8.2. I had to do something fight the weight gain and all the above illnesses.

What keeps you motivated?
The goal to achieve that perfect physique and to be able to live very healthy life even with PCOD and Thalassemia keeps me motivated.

TIP for all the readers: I have been lost a lot of time, have gone out of track many times but what gets me back is this one phrase-  “ Only, you can CHANGE your current situation & you need to FIGHT FOR IT every day.”

What are the hurdles you faced on course to achieving your fitness goals?
When I took charge of my situation and realized that I need to lose weight and need to be healthier. I did my Transformation- lost the required amount of fat from my muscle, built lean muscle, my health complications healed without any operation(thanks to God), energy levels shooting up, No thyroid issues, constipation all gone!

After this I was in the phase of:
“AND SHE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER” but this doesn’t really work in real life. Life attacks you all the time. So it attacked me too. I suddenly slowly and steadily started gaining a lot of weight again after a 1 or so from my transformation and for about 2 yrs I was ignorant towards it because I wasn’t able to accept the fact that how can this happen to me again. Life became miserable, I tried so many things again and I was doing everything right.

Then one day my mother suggested me to see a doctor for my increasing acne/pimples and I went with her and after some analysis, I found out I have got PCOD and that is why I am always bloated, gained a lot of weight and 2 months back I started my Journey again, with PCOD and Thalassemia things are going slow but I have still lost a lot of weight since then and am trying to achieve back that physique.
